Ding, dong, the malevolent MOUSE is dead.
Yes, it's true. The demise of a certain unmentionable mouse is the subject of Miami artist, Billie Grace Lynn's, 30-foot tall inflatable sculpture "Dead Mouse", a caricature of an oft-mocked unctuous rodent from Orlando. It will be displayed proudly during this kick-off event for the Mickee Faust Club's 25th anniversary season.
"We're having an (Un)Happy Hour as a wake for my dearly (at last!) departed brother," sniffed Mickee Faust, the bitterly jealous, cigar-puffing, foul-mouthed illegitimate sibling of the recently departed.
The (Un)Happy Hour mock wake will be Saturday, March 24 from 5-7pm at the Mickee Faust Clubhouse, 623 McDonnell Drive in Railroad Square. In lieu of flowers, please bring cash, checks or credit cards and make a donation to the "Fulfilling Mickee's Wish For World Media Domination Foundation."
There will be free snacks, a cash bar, and an opportunity to see and have your photo taken with the Dead Mouse. What better way to support your favorite rats than by spending an (Un)Happy Hour merrily drinking, snacking and having your picture taken with a gigantic, blow-up cartoon vermin? *Please note: this version of the cartoon mouse is bloodied and may not be appropriate for children.
